Health Centre

At times the first aider or nurse may need to take more that the basic first aid kit to camp. This is especially true if the camp is for more that a weekend or there are special activities such as out trips, horseback riding or the group is traveling.

The distance from and the availability to medical assistance may determine the equipment needed.

If someone needs to be transported to a medical facility, it should be clear who will accompany the person and who will remain at camp to be responsible for the needs of the other campers.
